Welcome to PrairieMap, a geospatial data clearinghouse supporting research, management, and conservation of prairie grassland ecosystems in western North America. Maintained at Montana State University by the Big Sky Institute’s Informatics workgroup, PrairieMap advances the mission of the Mountain Prairie node of NBII (National Biological Information Infrastructure) to provide web-based access to conservation-relevant information on biological resources in the mountain-prairie region.
