BSI Executive Director Lisa J. Graumlich will become the Director of the School of Natural Resources at the University of Arizona in Tucson starting in January 2007.  We will sorely miss Lisa as a friend, science leader, mentor, and the person who transformed the lofty vision of BSI into a substantive and meaningful program that is poised to take the next big step.  Everyone at BSI congratulates Lisa on her new position and can't thank her enough for her amazing efforts as BSI's first Executive Director (2001-2006).

At this point the plan is for MSU to appoint an Interim Executive Director who will lead BSI during the transition until a new Executive Director is selected.
