  • Most memorable learning experience: My most memorable learning experiences have usually involved the outdoors in some way. These range from self-taught experiences – e.g., don’t pitch the tent in a dry creek bed because it may not stay dry when the thunderstorm comes at 2 a.m. – to lessons my dad taught me while hiking or fishing as a kid.
