Science Friday: Fishin' in Our Own Backyard
Start: 10:00 am
End: 4:00 pm

Bring the whole family out for a day of adventure, nature, and learning. With three professional fishing guides from East Slope Outdoors, you’re sure to learn something new about fish and fishing, whether you’ve never touched a fly rod before or are an experienced angler. We will also get wet learning about the crazy creatures that live in our streams and rivers. This is a fantastic value for a full day of family fun! We will meet at the Big Sky Community Park.
Time: 10am – 4 pm
Cost: $20 per person, lunch is provided

Join naturalist Sarah Pratt for a bird-watching outing near the Big Sky Community Park. Please bring binoculars if you have them, and don't forget a jacket for those cool summer evenings.

This meeting is meant to be a forum where those who are interested in seeing courses offered in Big Sky can provide input and direction into the process of designing the program.

Science Friday: Wonders and Water on the Madison
Start: 10:00 am
End: 4:00 pm

Make the best of a hot August day with a raft float on the Madison River. We will get wet and learn about the Madison River and its plants and animals. With ASMSU Outdoor Recreation providing all the gear and experts providing the fun activities, you just need to show up with sunscreen and shorts! This is a fantastic value for a full day of family fun! We will meet at the Big Sky Community Park and then carpool to the put-in near Bozeman.
